Maxine Waters Keeps Earning Backhanded Compliments
Maxine Waters is one of our favorite topics–an irritating local pol who plays the race card because it’s often the only one she’s got. (We previously wrote about her national recognition of being named to the list of “13 Most Corrupt Members of Congress”).
Mayor Sam is one of our favorite blogs and covers LA politics better than anyone (even earning recognition in the blog-hating Los Angeles Times). So when Mayor Sam writes about Maxine Waters it becomes required reading.
If you think we’re being hard on Maxine, just follow the above links and you’ll probably change your tune. One question will remain however. In terms of a representative, is this really the best that her district can do?
