Report: 54 Million French People Smell Quite Bad

According to an article in the “respected” weekly Le Point magazine (as reported in the UK’s Sun):

…a study yesterday revealed nine out of ten French people do NOT wash regularly.

That means that out of a population of 60.5million, more than 54million risk being whiffy.

Shockingly, 2.5million NEVER shower or bath while 1.8million NEVER brush their teeth.

The French national statistics also revealed that on average around 2,000 French citizens go on strike each day.

Say what you want about how rude or fat Americans are, how bad our beer is, or that our TV channels have too many commercials. Unfortunately all true. But dammit, at least we shower.

Independent Sources reports on an article appearing on Sky News in Britain. The basic gist of the article is the French stink. Of course we all knew that figuratively, but apparently it is a literal thing too. Of course it should tell you

Can someone explain to me why it is the French don’t bathe/shower? I just don’t understand it.

I would love to but we’ve been accused of bias against the French so we just stick to reporting facts about them. It may have something to do with being arrogant but that’s just speculation.

Having been to France a few times, bathing just seems pointless while you are there. Every square inch of every object is dirty. Wait until you get into Germany, probably one of the cleanest places on Earth, to bathe and not worry about stepping in poodle crap on your way to the Louvre.
