Hey Web Designers: al-Qaeda is hiring
From Reuters/Los Angeles Times:
Al Qaeda has put job advertisements on the Internet asking supporters for help putting together its Web statements and video montages, an Arabic newspaper reported.The London-based Asharq al Awsat said on its website this week that the terrorist network had “vacant positions” for video production and for editing statements, footage and international media coverage about militant activities worldwide.
The paper said the Global Islamic Media Front, a Web-based organization linked to Al Qaeda, would “follow up with members interested in joining and contact them via e-mail.”
Which raises the question, if you are an out-of-work techie how do you know that job listing you are responding to isn’t al-Qaeda? Here are some tips from Independent Sources.

I imagine that you may want to ask in the interview what happened to the people who previously held the positions.

Good point, one of the many questions would be whether the Israelis had bulldozed any of their houses. A yes to that answer would be a red flag.
