Female Steve Erhardt: Scary!
Steve Erhardt may just have found himself the perfect woman (for him not us):

Body dysmorphic disorder, popularized by Michael Jackson, was raised to a new disturbing and macabre level with Steve Erhardt and his $250,00 butt-implants (to be fair, the quarter million paid for all 30 of this cosmetic surgeries but it’s the painful butt-implant surgery that makes us particularly queasy). Besides the odd looks one gets, being a completely reconfigured individual can be lonely. At present, there are no dating sites for singles addicted to plastic surgery. So imagine Steve’s surprise when his soul mate showed up on Oprah–Jenny Lee of Dallas, Texas, who has had 28 plastic surgery procedures. Unfortunately for Steve, she’s married. But (no pun intended) the knowledge that there is at least one female out there who shares his same passion for the cutting knife gives him hope that there could be more.
In case anyone thinks we are heartless for the tone of our coverage of this subject, let’s remember that both of these individuals have gone out of their way to promote the way they look and how they got to be like that–so in our opinion they are fair game. We’re just trying to do our part to discourage others from doing something similar. Also, if there a are villains in these stories they are the “doctors” who continue to operate on people who are most certainly disturbed individuals.

I feel bed for people like Jenny Lee; I just watched an interview of her at Larry King live. I saw a sick person talking; it was absurd that she couldn’t see here own defaults. What kind of message her daughter gets? Modeling behavior is learning by observing the close environment, what does her child see?
Jenny Lee is so ugly; she looks like a 50 years old porno star, however she is only 29 years old. She was a pretty girl and now it is hurt top watch her hideous ugly teeth that popping out like a beast disproportion to her small face.
It is our entire fault as a society for letting this happen. It is the bardies company; The TV we watching; the movies icons who model so many wrong behaviors, and most of all not having anything significant in our life. I believed it is called being shallow.
I wish that people like Jenny Lee would invest so much money helping children who die every day because of stamina. I wish that people like her would put only 10% of the time they invest in their beauty to educate themselves on other issues, like global warming and what is happening to our world.
It is so sad to see our society suffocating.

Jenny is not suffering from her desire to be beautiful!
I watched Larry King Live tonight as well, and felt compelled to get out of my bed to find her website. Ironically I live in Dallas TX as well, and have a very similar yet different story from Jenny. As she spoke about her life, family, marriage, and body I found myself relating my experiences in an almost parallel aspect. Where as she resorted to plastic surgery; I found myself fighting bulimia. I have not binged and purged for 3 months, and that is truly an accomplishment. In my opinion and experience these disorders/diseases may start with a “physical” goal in mind, but before you know it you are trapped and have no idea how to release yourself. Jenny is not shallow…she is lost in her own mind and body. I know it sounds bizarre, but it is true.
If any one caught her website address, will you please post it? I’m trying to search for it. I may know someone who can really help her.

Please get this woman pychological help. Why can’t she see that she looked better before she started. Hats off to Dr. Rey. Hopefully no surgeon will perform more “needless” procedures.

Body dysmorphic disorder, if that is what she has, is truly a sinister disease. Not only do they not see themselves as others do, but they spend great amounts of money and endure painful surgeries to make themselves worse off. I do not understand why the doctors allow this to happen. Can’t they just say no and/or require a note from a psychiatrist? Whatever it is, there appears to be something very wrong with the whole thing.

I wish that TV bosses would stop making us believe what is an ideal look, so people like Jenny Lee wouldn’t have an inferiority complex. I wish that TV and fashion magazine bosses would only dedicate 10% of their content in shallow moneymaking visuals and 90% to educate us consumers on other issues, like global warming and what is happening to our world.
It is so sad to see that riki wants to fight the junkies, not the dealers.
