Best Headlines from Email Cat Spat
Independent Sources just commented on the gripping story of the legal secretary email cat fight. We thought this would be a great opportunity to see funny tag-lines (a bizarre obsession of ours). from both mainstream media and blogs. (Of course in retrospect we wish we had given our posting a more clever title, something like “Aussie Bird Flap Roils Legal Nest”). Here is the best of what we found:
Mainstream Media
- Flaming email row: Secretaries sacked over bitchy spat (Sunday Times)
- Now who’ll pay for Katrina Nugent’s lunch? (Radar)
- Oz email catfight secretaries walk plank (Register)
- Girls, it’s a jungle out there (Sydney Morning Herald)
- E-mailers sacked for sanga slanging (Brisbane Courier Mail)
- Woo Hoo Secretary Email Catfight (Webpronews)
Blogs:
- the skillful craft of email disgrace (life in between the shoe boxes)
- Non-scripted magic (smalgin)
- Miss Can’t Keep a Sandwich vs. Miss Can’t Keep a… (work blog a third of your life)
- You’re all fired (The Supermercado Project)
- If she thought she was broke before …(the original musings)
- Top law firm in fight … with itself (groing’s brab)
- Runaway email (trapped in the usa)
- “Monday, Monday….Blame it on Mama Cass” (The Jammy)
As we say at Independent Sources, if you can’t come up with a good tag-line, don’t make the post.

Update: groing’s brab cut the photos of the two female flamers by each missive adding an excellent dimension to the story.
