According to the Associated Press (via Yahoo), Lance Armstrong is so upset with French allegations about drug use that he is considering returning to the sport because he knows how much it would rankle the French.

To steal a regular thread from news/humor website Fark.com, the French responded by immediately surrendering.

“I’m thinking it’s the best way,” to anger the French, Armstrong told a reporter. “I’m exercising every day.”

Having been unable to find a single French rider able to keep up with the Texan for seven straight years, the French media has resorted to anonymous sources and mysterious lab results from 1999 in its newspapers to charge Armstrong with doping.

In a related note, the French government is alleging that Germany definitely cheated in WWI and II.
