Location had nothing to do with it. The data I posted indicates that Starbucks appeals to liberals. Although they didn't come right out and state it ( why was that? ), the demographics of Dunkin Donuts seemed to indicate a popularity in more moderate to conservative areas ( the South, age demographics, etc.. ) The over-all picture they paint is Starbucks is the more liberal, Dunkin Donuts the more moderate/conservative. Therefore, if the DNC is serving the coffee that appeals to liberals, they're priming for Kerry ( substitute the liberal Democrat of your choice, this is purely for illustration purposes only ). If they serve Dunkin Donuts, watch out for a centrist. Hillary is positioning herself as a centrist. Those left are the fringe element of Democrat Party, the neo-Dems. If they serve Maxwell House, watch out for a sleeper.

Very interesting. But what makes the link between Kerry and Starbucks and Hillary and Dunkin Donuts?

DD is a Massachusetts based franchise. (Not that location is that important)
