Fox News Conservative? Don’t tell Barbara Boxer or Her Pocketbook
When liberals start harping about the the conservative slant of Fox News, don’t expect California Senator Barbara Boxer to join in the chorus. Why? Boxer has collected $41,130 in campaign contributions from Fox News’ parent News Corp. over the past few years. The watch dog of liberalism has collected more Fox News money than any Republican candidate and is below only Senator Kerry (whose take was certainly skewed by his presidential run) and Senator Hillary Clinton.

See, I figure it’s just business — why would Murdock need to give any money to Republicans? After all, he’s going to get what he wants from them anyway. Now, greasing the palms of a few dems in key states might just be the ticket for avoiding a fillabuster or two on bills of interest to News Corp. Sounds like good business sense to me.

I get Murdock’s motivation. I think it is funny that the guardian of the left has her hand out from the news organization liberals hate more than anything.
