Howard Dean: I Think I’m A Republican! Wheee!
Howard Dean speaking to the College Democrats of America:
“The president and his right-wing Supreme Court think it is ‘okay’ to have the government take your house if they feel like putting a hotel where your house is.”
Angry Howard got his conservatives and liberals mixed up — conservatives oppose the Kelo decision; the liberal side of the Court supported it.*
Sounds like Dean really buys into the idea that everything is the administration’s fault. Coming next:
“The President and his right wing allies think it is ‘okay’ for it to rain on every day of your vacation ….”

* and yes, we know that Bush has appointed precisely zero Justices to the Supreme Court, so the whole comment is inane.

I almost killed my monitor with coffee when Sean Hannity brought this out yesterday on his show. I really do believe that Howard Dean is from Pluto, because no one from this planet can be that stupid. But then again, he is a loony lib — can we really expect anything better from them — like knowing what they’re talking about??? What’s sad is there are people in this country that will believe him without researching his statement and finding out the truth. Unfortunately, one of them is my lib mother — and no, we don’t talk much because her daughter has going to the conservative dark side in her book.

My working hypothesis is Dean 1) thinks appropriating private property for another’s private use is bad, and 2) instinctively believes Republicans are on the evil side of every issue. Thus, the Republicans must be in favor of it.
