Oh, No! More Ward Churchill; Mainstream Media Discovers Pirate Ballerina
Three weeks ago, we told you about Pirate Ballerina—our favorite Ward Churchill site. It might as well be my home page.
This week, the Denver Post gave proper credit to Pirate Ballerina for their dogged reporting of the many, many idiotic things that come out of Mr. Churchill’s mouth.
Most recently, Churchill, speaking at an anti-military forum in Portland, Ore., remarked:
“Conscientious objection removes a given piece of the cannon fodder from the fray,” he said. “Fragging (killing) an officer has a much more impactful effect.”
When one of the forum’s attendees said that the impact such a fragging might have on the officer’s family should be considered, Churchill replied:
“How do you feel about Adolf Eichmann’s family?”
We won’t spend too much time here on why Churchill is such a clown, it’d use up the last of our bandwidth and it has already been well-documented here in Independent Sources and even in more detail in Pirate Ballerina. What we continue to not understand is how does Mr. Churchill continue to have his job? If it is tenure and tenure alone, then the backers of the upcoming anti-tenure initiative in California have got to figure out how to get Mr. Churchill to appear in the golden state before the fall special election. If there was ever a walking billboard for what’s wrong with tenure, it is Ward Churchill.
