Allstate’s $30m Speaks for Itself
This is a headline from today’s Los Angeles Times:
Allstate to Settle Rate Claims
The insurer will pay a state fine and repay $30 million to clients who may have been overcharged. It admits no wrongdoing.
Note to Allstate: When you agree to pay $30 million dollars to settle a claim of wrongdoing by the California Insurance Commissioner, you are admitting wrongdoing whether you like it or not.
