L.A. Times: “Do as I say, not as I do”
In giving a justified slamming to Edward Klein’s new Hillary Clinton book, Los Angeles Times writer Tim Rutten states:
The way to handle “The Truth About Hillary” responsibly is to give it no further notice, no wider discussion.
Silence.
Note to Tim, this is all well and good but don’t you think these words would have had more of an impact if they didn’t come at the end of your full-length, page 1 of the Calendar section article dedicated to the very subject that you say should be ignored? You even included a picture of the supposed-to-be-ignored book in your story that goes out to over a million LAT readers.
So much for the silent treatment.
