It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke…
What do you get when you mix the following?
- A United Nations envoy
- A Taliban
- An FBI informant
- A Long Island real estate salesman
- A Tax fraud
Answer: 2 to 8 months in federal lock up.
Hard to believe but all of the roles above were played by one individual, Noorullah Zadran, who was the Taliban’s media voice and acted as a UN envoy.
Now who would have thought someone associated with the UN would be corrupt? And what was it like buying a house from this guy if during a walk-thru inspection he grabs his ringing cell phone and says, “Excuse me, I must take this call from Mullah Omar.”
