With the next presidential election just three years away, Independent Sources reports that the Democrats have taken a commanding lead in the all important messaged wrist band category.

According to the Think Blue Dems web site, over 86,000 of the little blue buggers have been sold. While this might seem like a small number when compared to the 111,000,000 registered voters nationwide, if these bands were concentrated in Ohio or Florida, they might be just enough to make the difference.

Independent Sources has conducted the exhaustive study of the wrist bands wars and discovered that Republican efforts thus far are lacking. The primary website for carrying red Republican wristbands, goband.com, doesn’t even list the number of wristbands sold. (It should be noted that in classic Republican fashion, their bands are selling for 300% of the price of the Democratic bands, so they will reach revenue parity with only 1/3rd the sales).
