Thank You Google For Making Us the #4 Site for Cambodian Midget Fighting Leagues
Dear Readers:
We’ve made well over a 100 posts over the past few months. We have covered topics as diverse as Jim Lampley’s loopy politics to how the French are like watching Sea Monkeys. We’ve savaged Warren Beatty and asked what’s wrong with putting criminals in prison? But what do people want? Here’s the last 13 searches to come through in the past 20 minutes:

In other words, what the people want is the story on the Cambodian Midget Fighting League. We wrote about this earlier this week but that was before we moved up to #4 on the search results on Google when searching pretty much anything involving the words: Cambodia, Midget, Fighting, or League lead you to us. (Try it yourself, type “cambodia midget fighting league” and check it out.)
So with our new found success with the Cambodian Midget Fighting League story, we are at a decision point. Do we stay true to our roots or do we play up our Google positioning and incorporate Cambodian Midget Fighting League into as many stories as possible? Do we write about incoming Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and speculate his views on Cambodian Midgets Fighting Leagues? How about Barbara Boxer, where does she stand on Cambodian Midget Fighting Leagues?
Stay tuned if you want the answer as in the next week we will be unveiling a new format, mission statement and name. We will also be adding new guest columnists (one of which is currently in France researching French people and why they do the funny things they do).
