Mr. Lampley: Please Blog Responsibly

The Wit and Wisdom of Jim Lampley (as written by Jim in the Huffington Post):

Jim on the state of the country:

It’s excruciating on a day-to-day basis to have to endure the social divisiveness, elitist arrogance and blatant media control of creeping fascism in America.

… a country where real democracy lies momentarily dormant. Dormant due to right-wing ownership of the national political machinery and the widespread election fraud that has engendered.

On the Newsweek Koran Story that lead to deadly rioting in Afghanistan:

For pro-Bush writers to attempt to guilt-trip professional reporters for collateral damage is beyond ludicrous. It’s immoral.

On the 2000 Presidential election:

Make no mistake: my argument is that the final official vote tally is anything but accurate, that it is the product of massive vote fraud carried out through the programming of Diebold voting machines and various other machinations aimed at suppressing, destroying or losing Kerry votes.

These people (Vegas oddsmakers) understand which information to trust and which indicators to consult in determining where to place a dividing line to influence bets, and they are not in the business of being completely wrong. Oddsmakers consulted exit polling and knew what it meant and acknowledged in their oddsmaking at that moment that John Kerry was winning the election.

… is there any greater imperative than to reverse this crime and reestablish democracy in America?

Gee thanks Jim. To recap. Per you, we live in a fascist country with no democracy. Our last election was the result of criminal fraud via crooked voting machines. How do we know? I guess I need to just ask your bookie. Also, per you, any one questioning Newsweek’s handling of the Koran story is guilty of being immoral.

If you think that we are being too tough on Mr. Lampley and his transition from exciting boxing commentator to horrid political analyst, then read this dissecting of his election fraud claims.

The upside of all of this is that Mr. Boxing’s loose lips looks to promise us a never-ending stream of things to write about. (Click here for an earlier post on Mr. Lampley and the Huffington Post).

Newsweek is immoral? If anything, they’re guilty of caving in to the White House press office. Let’s just ignore the fact that the story was sent TWICE to the Pentagon for fact checking before being published. It’s a matter of public record - check it out.
