Special Election Coverage: Help Us Decide What To Do With Antonio2009.com and Villaraigosa2009.com

Since we bought the domains Antonio2009.com and Villaraigosa2009.com last Friday (see our post below), we’ve been in something of a quandary. Since traffic to those domains is redirected here, should we use them to gain wider exposure for Independent Sources? Could we change some hearts and minds and have a positive impact on Los Angeles politics? Should we use them to counter-spam Barbara Boxer, who persists in spamming us? Save a few jobs by offering them up to the short-sighted Villaraigosa staffers who forgot to buy them last September when they registered Antonio2005.com? Or shop them to the highest bidder when the next mayoral race heats up?

Help us decide! Comment away with ideas — and vote Villaraigosa to preserve our investment!

I’d like to inquire about purchasing those Internet thingies from you guys.

At least you paid for the domain names fair and square. Check out how Hahn just lifted a graphic from Villaraigosa’s home page.

Here’s what you do: create a split screen, one half is for “Reasons to Reelect Antonio” and the other is “Reasons to Retire Antonio”. Spend the next four years posting articles to the appropriate sides. It will be a great resource for voters and a reminder to Antonio that we’re paying attention. Democracy Rocks!!!
