We really are going to focus less on Southern California here at Independent Sources … but this is too good to pass up. Yesterday, Los Angeles Mayor (and mayoral candidate) James Hahn told a community group that he wants a landfill-free city. Yes, we’re talking about the same City of Los Angeles that has a population of 3.8m and generates 4,700 tons of trash daily. What’s next — a bold stand supporting homes on the beach for everyone?
