In response to reader demand for “softer” weekend postings and other suggestions to improve the blog, we at Independent Sources are pleased to announce our first major overhaul of the blog since our first posting in January of this year. Specifically we are adding a Weekend Edition of Independent Sources that will carry entries aimed at the lifestyles and interests of Independent Sources readers. These will include humor, entertainment, and sports. The weekend edition of Independent Sources will also be the new home of our in depth features. Commenting about the new section blog contributor Area Man states, “the weekend edition IFS (InformedSources) will be where our staple of economic analyses of everyday life meets the pleasure of the weekend.”

Senior Administration Official noted that despite the new focus of the weekend section InformedSources would not hesitate to immediately post time sensitive subjects. “As part of the Blogsphere, we have an obligation to timeliness,” he said, “and we take that very seriously.”

Independent Sources readers will note that also in response to reader requests that photographs, diagrams and pictures will soon start being added to the blog. Please check back often to see the improvements and let us know what you think.
