And Lawyers Wonder Why They are Despised
It might be a little too early to announce the most baseless and gratuitous lawsuit of the 21st century but we at Independent Sources would like to nominate the newly filed lawsuit against the Thai government, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and its Tsunami Warning Center, and the French hotel group Sofitel. I can’t wait to hear the plaintiff attorneys claim that this action isn’t about money (and their desire to capitalize on 275,000+ casualties). They probably want us to believe that this lawsuit’s intent is to serve notice to other acts of God (earthquakes, tornados, etc.) that they too will be held accountable for the mayhem and havoc which they wreak.
