Democrats Win Hawaii (or Why Its Called the Democratic PARTY)
No, we’re not referring to the election. Instead, our headline refers to the free, all expenses paid trip to the Pro Bowl in Hawaii given to Democratic California lawmakers by Ameriquest and other special interest groups. If you are one of hundreds of Ameriquest customers who have accused the mortgage company of fraudulent sales activities you are probably not too happy to see the company wining and dining the very people you are counting on to reign in the company’s more questionable practices. (It should be noted that Ameriquest plays both sides of the street and are large donors to the California Republican Party as well).
Independent Sources cites the above example as to why it is important to support non-partisan, non-special interests groups such as Taxpayers For Common Sense to look out for your interests. Unless you were an Ameriquest shareholder or executive, it is a safe bet that your well being was not on the Democratic Party Monster’s Honolulu agenda last week.
